[Update] Flash: Weiqiao lowers prebaked anode buying price for Feb

SHANGHAI, Jan 31 (SMM) – Weiqiao Group has lowered its prebaked anode purchasing price by 150 yuan/mt for February at 4,150 yuan/mt delivered, SMM learned. This followed further negotiations with sellers as some carbon companies did not accept a previous adjustment of 200 yuan/mt. We see sufficient prebaked anode inventory among aluminium smelters, and there is still room for the price to move downwards.
